Claudia was still in a stunned sort of state, tears rolling down her cheeks at the whole idea of H.G. actually being dead at home. And the Warehouse, God, what would happen now? What would they do? Where would she go? She didn't even want to think about it, but all these questions that no one could possibly have an answer to right now were pouring in her head like a waterfall and she couldn't find the 'off' switch.
When H.G. moved over and hugged her, while there was definitely a certain level of comfort found in the action, it also managed to make her cry harder, a sob actually escaping at that moment. "I hope so, I don't even know how to process that right now. Nevermind a 'what to do' plan. Not that it would matter if I came up with something, pretty sure the Warehouse doesn't even exist here anyway..."
