As hard as it was for Helena to relay the information, she knew it was harder for Claudia to digest all of it. For all of the things Helena had done in her lifetime, she couldn't give Claudia a clear-cut answer as to what would happen next. "I wish I had the answer, but I know the rest of you will figure something out. Maybe one of you still had an artifact that could help undo what had been done, I don't know."
Helena looked at Claudia. While hugging wasn't exactly her first instinct, she couldn't help her long-dormant maternal instincts from taking over. She slid over closer to Claudia and pulled her into a hug, much as she would've done had her own daughter been upset. She hoped that it would help calm Claudia down a little, and reinforce the fact that Helena was completely alive here. She was still adjusting to not being a hologram anymore. "I know it's not exactly a rosy future, but you needed to know before something slipped. And I have faith in the rest of you being able to figure something out." And she secretly hoped that they would specifically find a way to go back in time and stop all of this from happening, and keeping herself from dying.
