"Right..." Claudia had temporarily forgotten about how to-the-point H.G. could be. She let out a breath and spun back to face the other woman once the door was closed. "The last thing I..." She sighed and walked back over to drop down on the couch, curling herself up in the corner. "I haven't really thought about it since I got here, was kind of distracted by being displaced." she admitted.
A few minutes passed before she spoke again as she tried to get her thoughts in order. "We were at the air port hangar, and...Pete told us to go back to the car...but I knew that meant he found something, so I went to see what it was..." She clenched her jaw and took a moment. "I should've listened to Pete." She let out a soft scoffing sound, shaking her head. "Jinks was dead and...then I was here."
