Taking a bite of her ice cream, Elphaba nodded. "I take it it's not that different from what you were used to. But at least it's civilization so you won't die or anything." While Elphaba had been used to being in the middle of nowhere, she didn't mind being in a city. At least with Lawrence if it got to enclosed for her, she could just take off on her broom and fly around for a while. There was enough open space that she could fly without being seen.
"I agree, it was. And I was glad to get some fresh air." She'd spent far too many days locked up inside her attic room, or just not going outside because of Moriarty. But this had been good for her, getting some air and meeting new people. Of course, in the back of her mind she did wonder if she was putting Claudia in danger by interacting with her, but Elphaba had needed someone to talk to that didn't know how to read her body language and know she was in trouble.
