"They could very well show up. I've learned not to rule anything out in this place. Personally, I think all of us are a little delusional in our own way, which makes us all normal. I'd be worried if someone showed up who wasn't phased at all by any of this. Those are the people that really have something wrong with them. And are usually the ones who go insane and try to kill us all." Which was a fair point, really. The people that seemed to have no issue whatsoever with showing up in this place seemed to almost always turn out to be the ones who tried to kill them.
"Definitely a step up. There is a bright side to everything, you just sometimes have to look for it." Coming from Elphaba, that was quite the statement. She wasn't optimistic by any stretch of the definition, but she did know there was a good side to things. "I have yet to see anyone literally devour a book. Well, one of my professors at Shiz University in Oz ate them. But he was a goat, so that explains that. So perhaps I should amend my statement to not having seen any human eat a book." After crossing the street, Elphaba glanced one way, then the other, deciding on where to go. "If we go this way, we'll go by the library. Over that way there's this really good cafe that has some really good tea. And coffee, but I'm more a tea drinker. Galinda has forever scared me away from ever consuming caffeinated coffee."
