"That works for me." Which really was a good plan. Sometimes wandering did work better than having a determined destination. "As long as you try, I won't hold it against you." Elphaba smiled, well knowing there were some hot buttons she had, but she was trying to keep her temper under control these days. Flying off the handle didn't exactly do anyone any good, especially now that one of the times she'd snapped was being used against her.
Glancing to where Claudia pointed, Elphaba nodded. "I say that's a good way." So she started heading in that direction. "As I'm sure you've all ready discerned, while there are things to do around here, it can still get boring. Kansas City isn't overly far from here, and tends to have more exciting, non-Apocalyptic things going on. Well, at least most of the crazy that happens here seems to be focused here in Lawrence." Though obviously the Apocalypse thing would eventually get to the whole world, but it was starting here.
"So where are you from?" Because Elphaba was curious. She liked learning about other people, it did help her expand her horizons and know more about this world and the places other displaced people came from. It was hard to tell what kind of place Claudia had come from. Was she from a place similar to this one? Had she dealt with the supernatural in her world? And if Claudia needed further explanation on just what they were up against in this world, she'd be more than happy to explain.
