It had been a long day. Leia didn't know what it was about the customers today, but really, they had been tiring. So getting home and just relaxing sounded like a wonderful plan at the moment. Leaving the bookstore, Leia had started the walk home when she felt a jolt and familiar presence in the Force.
What... but he...
But as soon as she felt the presence, Leia was overwhelmed by pain from it as well. Wherever he was, Luke was hurt. Badly. Without another thought, the princess raced down the street, dodging through people until she found an alleyway. Well. Okay, the last time she'd been in an alley, she'd been attacked by three demons, but there was no demonic presences this time. Just her brother. Her badly injured brother.
Racing over, Leia knelt down, taking stock of his positioning, as well as what he was wearing. Black. Okay. That meant it was after he found out the truth about Vader. Was it a bad thing that she could tell the basic time frame of where Luke was from this time based on the color of his clothes? But as he'd been prone to white before he lost his hand, it made sense. But she couldn't recall a time where he'd been this badly injured in the year they searched for Han or after. Did Vader do this? People said that he'd redeemed himself, but as Leia avoided anything pertaining to Star Wars, she herself hadn't seen it or read it and as the last thing she remembered from Endor was Han getting jealous because she wouldn't tell him why she was upset, she didn't know what happened following Luke leaving to sacrifice himself to Vader because he still saw good in him.
"Oh, Luke..."
Closing her eyes, Leia started to meditate. She wasn't exactly the most proficient at using the Force to heal someone, in fact, she hadn't actually done so in practice, so she didn't know if it would work. But she knew the concept. Meditation to call forward, to reach out and touch the Force to help the healing process, to quicken it. So Leia focused. This was why she'd wanted to train in the Force to begin with. She wanted to be able to help, and helping meant healing as well. So long as it did something, helped even minutely. After all, Luke was her brother, she couldn't just leave him there, if she could help, she would. There was no doubt in Leia's mind about that. There never had been, even before she had realized the connection she had felt with him went deeper than she had known.
