Grinning as she joined him he returned her kiss affectionately and laughed. "Good because I might have been sadder to give up the sandwich if we're being honest here. " This moment of normal was exactly what he needed to get out of his almost funk. Being around Allana just made him feel human and alive. Normally human wasn't such a good thing for Kon, but with Allana it felt nice. Different, but in a good way. His blue eyes that were identical to Clark's own were filled with a warm mirth as she curled up beside him.
"Really good dinosaur movies." He said with an amused look and tickled her side playfully. "I don't know. Clark's been doing this hovering thing with her, it's kinda weird going over there." He said with a small frown as he thought about the idea of Clark dating Darcy. "It's like finding your teachers really do have personal lives outside of the classroom and running into them at the store." He made a face and leaned his head against her own gently. "And yeah then theirs the high potential for breaking them into a million tiny pieces." Reaching down for his half a sandwich that remained he took a bite of it and sighed. "He's my only family you know? It's probably stupid acting like this.." Kon trailed off with a hint of disappointment, but it melted away as she voiced her faith in him and he smiled brightly. Leaning in some he kissed her gently once more. "I love you. " He started to confess and quickly lost his nerve all over again as she looked up at him. "I love the way your mind works." He corrected with a grin. "Even if it is occasionally evil and confused at who is the side kick."
As she leaned against him, he settled back into the couch comfortably. His eyes closed half way as he just tried to relax and recover from his confession. His other arm wrapped around her as well and he curled up with her. The tv was on silent in the background, some news program Kon really wasn't paying attention to anymore.
