He had arrived early, actually. The only time Peter would ever attend any meeting late was if Spider-Man was needed elsewhere. Felicia would understand that. She had said so herself when he had pointed that very fact out to her on the boards. The boards. They didn't use anything like that at home. In fact, he had been fairly distant from Felicia as a whole. The internet was an interesting bit of technology; it brought people together, people who probably weren't supposed to be.
Maybe this had been a bad idea after all.
"There are other people here, too," Peter pointed out immediately, fingers rising to tug at the loose tie that hung around his neck. Peter didn't have much to his name when he arrived. His costume and himself. That was it. He'd humiliated himself in the park the day before by 'pretending' to be Spider-Man so that he could earn enough money to get a few things that he needed. Speaking of needing - that one girl, Needy, had been helpful. He'd have to remember to go back and thank her again when he had the time.
She looked nice. Peter made a mental note not to stare. Not getting caught up in all of that again, he thought to himself. He was better off now. He had Mary Jane...who was still getting over what had happened with Venom. They'd adjust. They'd get better. He was sure of it. As soon as he got back, everything would be just fine.
