Phoebe had assumed it was Prue. After all, there were only four people who would actually show up at her door anyway. Ladybug was in school and Piper was gone. That narrowed it down to Prue and Mel and since she was actually expecting Prue, it wasn't much of a surprise. But her face still lit up when her sister's still too unfamiliar face appeared in the door. She'd been without her big sister for so long that it was taking time to be able to be around her again. Once her mom and Grams had told the girls they couldn't see Prue yet, she'd gotten used to the idea that she wouldn't be seeing her again. And now she wasn't just a spirit, but a flesh and blood person and...well, it took time.
"Rocky road is fine," she began, attempting to keep the strong face she'd been putting on for Ladybug, and for Felicia as they planned for the party. But when Prue opened her arms, Phoebe became the youngest Halliwell who desperately needed her big sister all over again. She hopped up from her chair and flew into Prue's arms, hugging her tightly. "I hate this place, Prue," she protested, only that wasn't entirely true.
Yes, she'd miss Piper. And she missed Leo and Paige, too, and the boys. But here, she had Prue back. And she had the little girl she'd spent years dreaming of, right down to the perfect button nose. If she had to be pulled into an Apocalypse, there were worse ways to go.
She clung to Prue just a little bit longer than necessary and a bit tighter than she used to before pulling back and shaking her head. "It's okay. It's going to be okay. It's like Felicia said, she's home now and she's safe. Well. As safe as she can be to be a Halliwell," she added with a half-hearted smile.
