Paige Matthews ([info]witchwithaplan) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
Paige didn't think she brought the sudden change of tune. She wouldn't doubt that there was something rotten about it. However, while she didn't relax her stance, she nodded slowly and didn't allow her suspicions to show. "I don't think there's a way to fix the seals. If there is one, no one around here has managed to figure the way to do it."

Paige looked back at the man. Then Azula. Leo had always told her to trust her instincts; however, her instincts were a bit uncertain at the moment. They weren't telling her to trust this woman. However, they weren't telling her not to trust her either. Thread carefully, very carefully was the main theme. "I can understand that." Paige said slowly. She'd acted rash before. However, a rashness that tended to err with a heaping side of caution. Especially when it came to humans. But she didn't know what kind of world this woman had come from. It could be an act first, think later kind of place. In fact, Paige understood that motto could save many lives, including ones one. Not to mention, she better than most, understood how powers were tied to ones emotions. More so with fire-starters. "I'm going to need to get him to the hospital but I can answer any questions that you have. Show you some place to stay and how to protect yourself against the demons." She wasn't so sure about bringing her to the apartment complex. But she wasn't about to leave the woman to get hurt.
