He looked a little embarrassed, but Clark went on with it anyway. "It's beautiful. It's you."
Clark wasn't very good at this. Expressing himself, being open about his feelings when it came to...what, was this a crush? Something more, possibly? He wasn't good at it, either way. He feared that one day he was going to say something nice and affectionate and it was going to come off as bizarre and intimidating. Romance was a really weird thing.
