They were coming clean. It was definitely new, to say the least. For as long as Clark could remember, when people discovered his secret it was usually by accident. The beginnings of this entire mess were, surely, but when it came down to it he and Kara could have lied and lied until they were blue in the face. Lois had no proof beyond the word of a crazy vampire. Until she got really curious and started hitting the internet. But that wasn't enough evidence. Lois had not physically seen either of them do anything worth giving her the impression that they weren't human.
That didn't matter, though. The story was being told. Lois would react. Hopefully, he was praying, for the better. As much as he picked and teased and argued with her, Clark couldn't deny that Lois was an important part of his life. He knew she had the ability to adapt, but were aliens too much for even her to handle?
"It's true," Clark verified, watching Lois carefully, "our planet was called Krypton. It was destroyed. I was raised here among all of you and Kara..." He looked over at her, slightly able to muster a faint smile. "She's learning."
