“Well,” She let out a little laugh. “I sure ain’t lettin’ you drive this one.” Kaylee peered over at Ron’s fancy chess board. She didn’t know the rules of chess. She’d never played it before in all of her life. Still, it was pretty neat watching the little figures fight. Magic was something that just plain didn’t exist in her world so it was interesting to be stuck by a wizard’s side. Of course, it would have been much nicer if this was all voluntary and not because of some crazy seal.
“How do you guys move around without things like cars or ships? Some kinda magic?” A smile spread across her face. Other worlds so different from her own fascinated her like some kind of wonderful fairy tale. It seemed that they couldn’t possibly exist, but that was a good thing. It made her imagination work overtime.
