While the door hadn’t been open wide enough for Allana to see inside at first she’d pushed it open further when she’d heard Kon say something and then begin walking towards the door, assuming that he was coming to let her in. …or not she realized, eyes widening slightly as Kon wandered into view in nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist and looked just as surprised to see her as she was to see his state of undress. For a few moments even the enormity of what was going on right outside the complex suddenly ceased to exist at a conscious level, swallowed in the sudden vortex of teenage awkwardness that had sprung into being in Kon’s living room.

“Hello, I, uh, sorry? I thought I heard you say something and I assumed it was ‘come in’?” She managed to cut herself off before she babbled anything else and was momentarily thrilled with the unexpected show of even that amount of poise in the face of a basically naked boy (who needed to start wearing tighter shirts because the current ones clearly did not allow for adequate warning, seriously, how did anyone get a body like that eating and playing videogames all the time? Did Kryptonian muscles bulk up every time the possessor of said muscles did something infuriating?) until she realized she was blushing and still staring. She looked down at the floor almost in unison with Kon then nodded and gave him a thumbs up in response to his ”Just a ‘sec.”

Jerk, she thought as he sped off, you get to stroll around having really great abs and then speed off with one of your eight million powers. I get to stand here wearing kriffing sweatpants and blush in your entranceway. There should be rules or-- but he was back before she could finish the thought, announced by the sound of magazines hitting the floor in the wake of his super speed, and her competitive instinct wouldn’t let her just stand there feeling flustered so she managed to raise her head and shake her hair out of her face, arching an eyebrow slightly in her best impression of unimpressed.

She was about to make some quip about his wandering around in a towel to show off, something to make her feel less awkward, but that was forgotten for a moment when she suddenly registered the sound of water coming from the bathroom. “Um, I think you’ve forgotten to turn your shower off?” She reminded him as she nodded towards the source of the noise.
