Who: Kon and Allana
What: Brooding, showering, and then ohay Allana showing up while he's in a towel post shower.
When: Today!
Where: his place.
warnings: Teenage awkwards.
Kon had been awake for very nearly a week straight. Sure he'd caught maybe an hour here and there, but those hours were useless. They were spent trapped in a nightmare. Every time he closed his eyes to try to sleep he saw children. Sometimes they were alive, but then within seconds they would die. They literally melted into the pieces of bodies he saw that night at the Orphanage. Ever since then he'd had a continuous migraine. It was strange enough for him to get a headache, but a continuing one was worrisome. He'd popped advil and tried to sleep, but just ended up laying in bed. So he stood and left the wrinkled mess of sheets to the shower.
Showers were supposed to help with stress. He'd learned that from Tim while he was at Titans Tower. Whenever Tim was feeling the stress he would shower, and the heat would literally wash it all away. So that was the plan. Shower, maybe order a pizza, and watch the news. Jacen was out fighting Cade and he felt like he should be there. Jacen had sent him away, Clark was there. It only made him feel like he should be there more though instead of the opposite. But even Clark had insisted that he take a breather. The kid had been basically obsessed with finding Cade to the point of nearly becoming violent. It was a new feeling for Kon. One he didn't like at all.
One he didn't even remember typing out, but he obviously had. It was there to Clark. He went back and looked at it several times. How could that be him? Clark had taught him better then to fight for vengeance. He knew the point of finding Cade was not actually to break his face open, so why did he feel a distinct need to do so?
The water finally began to heat up and Kon stripped of his bed clothes, climbing into the steady warm stream. His black hair flattened and clung to his face. The water spilled over his body and began to loosen his tight muscles. He'd virtually forgotten Allana was coming by when the steam began to rise to the ceiling of the bathroom. His eyes closed and his mind cleared.
