Damon gave a nod, trying to look like he took Elena seriously. Really, there was no way she’d be able to make a straight line, but he’d act like he was honestly giving her a chance to prove her sobriety. When she took a tumble he instinctively leaned forward, but he hadn’t been expecting her to fall right into his arms. It was so perfect that it was almost choreographed. Damon wasn’t complaining. He was silent for a moment thinking how nice it would be to kiss her and try to forget that she was completely intoxicated, but managed an awkward smile as he set her on her feet once again.
“Hi,” He smirked, feeling like he should have thanked Elphaba for that moment.
