"Not to mention all the destruction, but that's another story.." He trailed off as he took another bite of the sandwich. With his mouth full and looking rather childlike, he grinned. "That's great. " And swallowed the food. "Shortages are a real downer. Makes everything real pricey, and getting Double Dollars isn't the easiest thing to do. Usually involves bounty hunting, or shooting tournaments, and honestly I'm not a real big fan of violence. I like to avoid it as much as I can. " He smiled when she approved of his quiet life theory.
"Yep. Makes it worse sometimes though because our technology is so advanced there are few people who know how to fix it. I've done pretty well for myself in that area, but it makes it rough on other folks. " He was always thinking of other people, that was just how Vash was. When she called him by his full name though, he winced. " Just Vash is alright. I guess like your Turner, it's kind of a last name..so calling me by my full name is like you're yelling at me all the time. And that short and kinda bitchy insurance girl who follow me everywhere do enough of that.." He really was kind of an eccentric goofball when it came down to it.
"You sure? It isn't as scary as it sounds..people say I make a good sandwich. " Then she was back to talking about those food competitions and he was listening with total interest. "Do they get cash prizes for winning?"
