"It does, doesn't it? You'll have to excuse my laziness," she said, motioning to the top of the fridge. "Asking you seemed like the smarter idea than dragging a chair all the way over here." Not that it was a stretch with her Slayer strength but it was quicker. He was also willing to help, which was nice. And cute. "Just a couple of the AA batteries," she replied. "The remote for my game died suddenly and my butt got kicked. I'm planning revenge," she joked.
Her attention went to the cat when it meowed. Vi had a little bit of an affection for animals. She'd had a dog when she was younger and her aunt had had a couple of cats. The corner of her mouth quirked up and she put her hand over her mouth to hide her amusement at the cat's reaction. "He's a little bit of a smartass, isn't he?" she asked, finally caving to the giggles.
Taking a step around Vash, she nodded to the cat, leaning down slightly to get level with the feline. "Is he friendly? Would he mind if I pick him up?" she asked, glancing back at him.
