Vash was at least six feet tall, and the slayer was rather short compare to him. So he grinned a litle. "Sure. At least here the height seems to come in handy. " He offered her an awkward smile. He hadn't always been tall, when he was younger he was short for his age, he supposed that's what he got for being plante and not human, but whatever it was he didn't think to hard on it. He reached up and pulled down the box. "What do you need?" Batteries were a thing he hadn't seen much of. They were considered 'lost technology' where he came fro, so he rifled through them with a gloved hand.
The cat sitting on the counter looked annoyed with the situation at hand. It let out a cranky meow at the position it was put into by being made to wait. Vash looked over at it. "Who even says you're getting any Salmon, Kuro-neko? Spoiled little.." He made a face at the cat, his voice trailing off as the critter seemed to respond almost as if it understood what the blond spiky haired man was saying to it. It was obviously not the average cat.
He looked back to Vi and waited for her response before he pulled the batteries out.
