Anakin knew he wasnt doing himself any favors by not opening up to Luke and talking as they had since he arrived, but he couldn't do it. The Vong speak was just too fresh of a wound in his mind to find the right words to describe how it felt. It felt like he'd been stabbed in the back by his brother again on an emotional level. He'd already been once when he found out Jacen had sithed Tahiri, the girl he loved and the girl he could easily have spent the rest of his life with if it hadn't been for the end result of their final mission. He'd asked Jacen to look after her, and then manipulated her into being his apprentice. His own memory had been used to manipulate Tahiri. How was he supposed to just forgive that?
He didn't like that Luke wasn't talking much or being involved, but he understood. Honestly Anakin wanted to do the same. He wanted to hole up in Leia's place in his room and just not speak to anyone for a while. He knew that wouldn't help things either though, so he pulled out a small device that Luke might have seen once before from his pocket. It was a custom made laser puzzle that shot beams of focused light. It was meant to be a game, but many Jedi used it for light saber practice.
"Do you know what this is called, Uncle Luke?" He knew his Luke knew, but this one was very different. He wasn't sure if their technology was the same. There wasn't any tone in his voice when he asked, he wasn't trying to prove that he was superior in knowledge, or tech he was simply questioning. He was fairly sure Luke was going to ask anyway, so he jumped the gun a little to move things along.
