The compliment was returned and Saffron smiled sweetly in acknowledgement of it. Though she knew it to be true. She was good. Of course she was, she'd never have gotten as far as she had if she wasn't a crack shot. But gloating would get her nowhere. Not here, here she had to play it easy, play it right and get along with at least some of the complex types since she was pretty ruttin sure Mal and Simon would be badmouthing her to all and sundry. She would have expected nothing less from them. But at least this Ziva recognised her from the complex. It was a start she supposed, something that led to a basic level of trust between the two. As much as Saffron ever trusted anyone anyway.
"It'd make sense wouldn't it?" she reasoned. "Do you know the place well yet. I've never properly done any of the explorin' I probably should have. Maybe we take the long way home?" she asked walking over to a vending machine behind them as she spoke and reluctantly giving it a dollar for a bottle of water. It was alright though, it wasn't her dollar. She wasn't sure whoose wallet she'd lifted last but she'd made a nice little earner. It'd do for a few days.
"You here long?" she inquired, curious as to the others pulled in like she had been by a seal over the hell of Earth-that-Was. It made no sense to her that she be here, but here she found herself and it was still better than the trash.
