Elena knew that no one wanted her fighting. She was the only one without any supernatural abilities to aide her. And they were going up against black magic. But Elena wasn't about to be held back by fear. She wasn't about to let her best friend be captured and do nothing to help. Even if she just proved a distraction, Elena was determined to help. The second she was allowed to leave, Elena had made a quick trip. She had gotten herself a gun, just as Bonnie had told her to. She hoped to not need to use it, and if she did use it, to only injure, not kill. But she wasn't going to be completely defenseless. Which was why she was also carrying a knife, just in case something happened to the gun.
Elphaba seemed to be leading the way, and Elena was perfectly content to let her do so. So long as they got to Bonnie, helped her, that was all that mattered. So she stayed close to Damon on the way there, though silence seemed the way to go. No doubt he was livid with her, but she had to do this. He had to know that. He had to know she wouldn't sit back and do nothing. Yes, he wanted to protect her, yes he had said not to go to the front lines, but this was Bonnie they were talking about! Bonnie, Elena's best friend!
Arriving at the location, the brunette set her jaw as she stepped inside. She didn't know what she expected, but this wasn't it. But what could she do? She wasn't going to let fear control her. She wasn't going to freeze and become a liability. So it was taking a deep breath and focusing straight ahead. She couldn't let herself be phased. Even if she was convinced that she heard footsteps. Even so, her hand went into her bag, grasping the gun. Hopefully she wouldn't have to use it, but who knew.
