After having a really long discussion, they finally were ready to get Bonnie. Thanks to her vision, Elphaba had made sure everyone understood what would be waiting for them when they arrived. Bonnie had been kept in a a warded cage, so she was going to expect the place to be either warded or have traps all around it. And in the end, she'd given in to letting Elena and Galinda come with. She knew Galinda could, hopefully, handle herself, it was Elena she was worried about, but she knew the longer they argued, the less chance Bonnie would be alive when she got there. So they'd gotten things in order, armed themselves and headed off to the place. Elphaba had done some more research on the magic in this world, wanting both her and Galinda to be fully prepared to do their best at unraveling any spells and wards they came in contact with.
Elphaba didn't use the charm spell to degreen herself. She didn't want to use it and be on a time schedule of getting out there. And she wanted Bonnie's captors to see her for who she truly was. Though for once, she did not wear her black dress. She wore jeans and a shirt, giving her freedom of movement. Her long dark hair was braided to keep it from getting in her way. Once they reached the place, she glanced at the others, then looked around the perimeter. She didn't see any wards outside, perhaps because they didn't want to tip anyone off about their being there. "I don't see any wards out here, so let's move, but be careful. If you see anything that looks like a ward, tell me and Galinda so we can disable it." She wasn't exactly sure how well she could disable wards, her powers didn't really work that way, and the magic of this world was still something she hadn't figured out yet. But she hoped that Galinda would be able to work that if needed.
Taking a deep breath, Elphaba stepped up to the door and tested the knob, finding that it was open. She opened it carefully and when the room on the other side was dubbed clear of people, she stepped inside, keeping her eyes and ears open. She didn't want to get caught off-guard. The things she saw in the room, however, set off the alarms in her head. There was evidence of black magic. She walked over to a table where there seemed to be the makings of some type of drug. A slight growl came from deep in her throat and she glowered at the stuff. Oh, these witches were going to pay for this.
