Who: Anakin Solo [possibly open but a narrative is ok too.]
What: angsting, lots of angsting and a little bit of rage for good measure
When: After the talk.
Where: the streets then TKs place.
warnings: TBA but likely not pretty.
Anakin pushed a fringe of dark hair away from his ice blue eyes and looked around. It was getting late. On top of that, he didn't know where he was. Geographically he understood he was on Earth. A city called Lawrence, Kansas. Population, around eighty thousand or so the internet had said. But Earth was new and rarely since he arrived had he been out in it. The planet was known for it's people and it's climate, but where he came from it was a footnote in a more vast star system. Nearly a legend.
What was he doing? Why did he have to ask Jacen about Tahiri? What difference did it make aside from causing him misery? Tahiri was alive, he should have left it at that. But he just kept prodding Jacen. Despite having been warned, be couldn't not know right? It would have left him even more frustrated then before. But at the same time now he sort of wished he could go back in time and reverse his actions. Tahiri had become sith. It broke Anakin's heart. He didn't understand why or how, but even worse..Jacen had taught her. Jacen whom he entrusted her life too with his last dying breath had promised him and turned her into a sith. He wanted to hate his brother. He wanted to hate him so much, but Allana had said it herself. It was war..Things happened and changed in battle.
He knew all too well. He remembered dying vividly. Sometimes in his nightmares he remembered it. Late at night it played like a broken holo and he woke with cold sweats.
The sun was setting over the city, and nothing was familiar looking to Anakin at all. He'd made landmarks, but they didn't really matter when it came down to it. He didn't know the foreign city, and he wasn't sure he wanted to. He wanted to find a way back home. Tahiri was still alive and needed him. And if he couldn't get back home, being dead again seemed like the better option. The thought of it caused his breath to catch in his throat as he walked down a nearly empty street.
He just wanted to shut down like Jacen had. He knew the others must have felt his eternal struggle, His pure, raw emotion. The Force was something he did not know how to shut off and hide in like his brother and apparently Allana, but he was determined to learn it eventually. He'd felt her shut down, and he might have worried if not for remembering how much of a jerk Jacen had been. And what it felt like to have the Force closed off on him. He was fairly certain she was fine, and his heart just wasn't in the right place to find her and prove otherwise. So he continued on his cold and heartless walk through the noisy city.
He wanted to be furious and angry, but with each step he simply kept his head down and tried to blend with the other civilians. There was a junk yard not to far from where he was if he continued on that path. He wasn't feeling the will to deter from it. It was like he was drawn to machines. He just knew where they were. And after nearly and hour and a half of walking, the busy city area disappeared behind him and there he stood infront of a large junk lot.
The gate was locked infront of him, but Anakin held out his hand and jerked off the large metal chain that held it shut. He sensed danger infront of him, but he still kept walking forward almost like he were on auto pilot. The gates behind him clattered at the strain of being jerked open so forcefully, but Anakin didn't care how much noise they made. Even in the middle of the night, on a strange planet, he wasn't being careful. He didn't care.
Junk yards were typically a calming place for Anakin Solo. He'd seen them before, they usually had parts that he needed for new droids, or new holosystems. But this time the junk yard did nothing to calm his frayed nerves, and Anakin reached out a hand to grab at a large pile of said junk with the Force. With every ounce of strength he could gather, he threw the large piles into the distance. Not aiming for anything or anyone in particular. It still didn't help.
What helped even less was what the large pile rained down upon in the distance. A cage of feral dogs that were meant to guard the place at night, but hidden away when the owner was absent and not available to control them to some extent.
The pack of dogs were freed by the large objects crushing down their fence that confined them and came scrambling over eachother and through the wreckage directly toward the Jedi. Anakin did not move or even attempt to control them. He just stared ahead as if in a trance as they advanced. Barely moving, hardly even bothering to blink at them.
