Who: Kidnapees
What: Trapped in a warehouse, waiting for the un-fun to begin, Gabriel performing a rather selective rescue
When: Night of the abductions
Where: Warehouse of absolutely no fun
Warnings: Nothing awful, probably some upset people and the language people use when upset?
Notes: You'll be inserted into the posting order when you tag in, before that your character is assumed unconscious except for Jess who is strapped down somewhere because, uh, she would kill the world.

When she woke up the first thing she did, before she sat up, before she wondered where she was, why it was so dark, was to curl in her fingers and yank her hand in towards her chest. Kriff oh kriff thank you she thought almost incoherently as she brought her other hand up and covered her eyes. She took several deep breaths, steadied herself and her presence in the Force, but she still couldn’t stop clenching and unclenching her hand, the one the demon had used to burn off Jaina’s tattoo. It’s gone, she thought, turned on her side and pulled her knees in towards her chest, letting the thought become a chant, gone, gone, gone. It’s just me.

But it wasn’t, she realized with a physical flinch as she steadied herself enough to acknowledge the presences around her and the sensation of demons, more of them and more powerful than she’d ever felt in one place, tore at her mind like serrated edges. Then there were the plans, the hints the demon had let slip about why they had all been taken… for a moment she prepared to shut down, to use that old trick of Ben’s that Jaina, the one at home, had always told her was a last resort, only to be used when she was in danger and never just to hide. ”Being a Jedi means being better than hiding out of fear,” she’d told her and remembering that now made Allana pause before she could complete the mental motion and snuff herself out of the Force. Better than hiding, better than fear she reminded herself, can’t be a Knight and still run and hide. She forced herself to open her mind instead of slamming it shut, to filter out the demons and focus on the presences, far away but easily found once she tried because of familiarity and connection. Her grandmother’s was confused, half-submerged and muddled, unfocused and untrained, but soothingly familiar. Her mother’s was bright and clear, a beacon. Cade’s was dark-edged and angry but focused in a way that made even that darkness seem safe (so long, one presumed, as it wasn’t directed at you). Jacen’s, the one she’d hesitated to find, was dark, it always was, and darker now than usual but it was there and strong and nowhere near as dark as she'd feared. It felt like the mental equivalent of steady ground and she was surprised by how reassuring it was.

She focused on them for several long moments before she’d gathered herself enough to sit up, to draw her attention back to where she’d found herself and to the others in the room with her. Physically it was pitch dark, too dark to see so much as her hand in front of her face, and it was only with her enhanced senses that she could tell she was in some sort of large room, concrete all around, with a high ceiling and (judging from a purely ordinary chill) no heating. She could sense other people around her but none of them felt familiar (though at least none of them were demons, nothing like that presence was in the room) except for her aunt, a presence a few feet away that was much too faint for her liking. She couldn’t tell if the faintness meant her aunt was unconscious, purposefully subduing her presence…or injured, she couldn’t stop herself from thinking, what if I hurt her?

The fear in that thought drove her to her feet and she staggered forward a few paces. “Aunt Jaina?” She called out softly, and then as an afterthought, “Anyone? Is anyone else awake?”</j-cut>

The chill was the first thing to break through the hazy blankness that came from being unconscious. The next was that he was laying on the hard ground. Connor forced his eyes open, vision blurring for a moment before the darker shapes in the room came into focus. He was lying on concrete in a big room of some kind. As he shifted to sit up, pain shot through his left shoulder and he winced.

There had been a few of them. Connor hadn't paid them much attention until he'd realized they weren't just walking the same way as him, but following him. Things had gone bad when he had turned to ask what the hell they were doing. A scuffle had followed and then...then what? He shut his eyes again and tried to focus on those last few minutes before he'd been knocked out but his mind was still hazy. Someone had blindsided him.

His eyes opened again as he heard a soft female voice, followed by another answering. He wasn't alone in this place, wherever it was. The voices weren't familiar to him but that didn't mean much. He was still getting to know the people around the complex, much less those outside of it. Resting his uninjured hand on the ground, he pushed himself up to a standing position and squinted into the darkness. "That makes three of us," he said, keeping his voice low as well.

The diminutive mutant came to slowly, the sound of a few voices going through the air. Confusion was the first thing that hit her as she opened her eyes, but it came rushing back quickly.

Kitty had been in a hurry when she had been taken. She'd left her necklace at home and she'd even left her cell phone. It was strange to think that she now considered the complex home. It was probably a bad thing too. Either way, she still wasn't quite sure how this had happened. It all had come about so fast. And now...she was somewhere else. Normally she was so good about phasing automatically and she was a trained fighter, but the stuff with Mike and Tina had her more than a little bit preoccupied. Her emotions were directly attached to her phasing and that meant that lately she hadn't been doing as much of it. Maybe it was her own fault she hadn't been able to get away. She had fought, though. She hadn't been able to get away. Her mind was moving so quickly and she could feel the panic and the worry rising. Sucking in a breath, she took a moment trying to calm herself.

"Four, actually." She said, her voice soft, but not shaking in the least. She was working on getting her control back It was almost too hard. She wanted to be able to get people out, wanted to phase, but with her emotions all over the place she'd be more likely to get someone stuck in a wall. Kitty sat up slowly, attempting to look around in the darkness. Kitty moved to her hands and knees before lifting up, her knees on the ground. "Is anyone hurt?" She had to keep it together. The thought ran through her head, though....was Mike here, was he safe..? Pushing it aside, Kitty tried to focus on what was at hand and not let her other thoughts get in the way of what was important.

After having talked with Booth earlier, Troi had left the complex to take a walk, get some fresh air. It was her way of needing to clear her head and keep herself from getting too overwhelmed with the after effects of the Sins. She had been too deep in thought, taking in the fresh air than paying attention to her surroundings. Though she should have sensed the demons that had suddenly surrounded her earlier than she had. It didn't take much for the demons to over-power her and knock her out.

The first thing Troi became aware of as she drifted back into consciousness was the sense of fear and urgency from others around her. Then came the sense of being cold. What had happened? She had better still be herself and not turned into a Romulan again, or anything else for that matter. She groaned softly, rolling onto her back. She lifted a hand, brushing her fingers over her face. As she felt her familiar features, she felt relieved that she was still herself. Then she heard voices around her.

"Make that five, now." She remained on her back for the moment, not wanting to jar her head at all as it was throbbing. "No, I am uninjured." She tried to sense how many people were around her, but she couldn't sense anyone else aside from those all ready awake. "Does anyone have any idea where we are?" She kept her voice soft, following suit of the others she heard.

The first thing Jaina became aware of was the throbbing in her head, steady and heavy and loud, dull pain that spiked when she shifted slightly, trying to figure out the source of it. Moving also made the pain on her chest spark, and she didn’t quite understand what it was, shifting her hand to brush against it and - oh, ow, no, that was a bad idea. Burn, that felt like a burn, but that was where her tattoo was and...

...oh. Right. Everything came back to her, then, a slow trickle of information that bled into a larger stream, and she curled her limbs inwards for a moment, checking to make sure they were all intact (...I suppose she doesn’t really need both of her arms...) and undamaged, and then reaching out with her senses. Demons, Allana (alive, stable, good), other presences that blended into a blur of alive and then she pushed past those, seeking out Jacen. She half-expected not to find him, but he was there, familiar and soothing, if dark. The dark didn’t bother her so much, right now. She did her best to push the impression of we’re alive, we’re okay, get here soon at him, at any of the others she could reach

The voices around her slowly found their way past the haze in her brain (Concussion? Drugs? Exhaustion?) and she pushed herself to listen, to hear words and try to figure out what was going on. It sounded like a sound-off, people that sounded about as unsteady and confused as was to be expected of the situation. She pushed herself to a sitting position, palms flat to the cold ground under her, holding herself steady, blinking against the darkness.

Her half-mumbled “I’m okay,” was followed shortly by a worry-sharpened, “Allana?” She knew her niece was alive, and something like okay, she could feel it, but that didn’t mean she didn’t want verbal confirmation of that, didn’t mean hearing it from her, personally, wouldn’t make things better.

Allana paused her stumbling progress across the room as the presences she’d been able to sense vaguely, dim and distant, warmed suddenly into life like a constellation in the darkness of the warehouse. The chorus of voices that followed was a shaky one but it didn’t seem like anyone was injured or panicking and Allana let out a relieved breath. She could heal, all Jedi could, but she wasn’t anywhere near good enough to heal someone else’s major injury, especially when she was hurt herself, and she had practically no experience in calming someone else down; a byproduct of being the baby of the family was that everyone always seemed to be trying to protect you from their fear or unhappiness. She called back to the first woman who had spoken, “I’m not hurt,” and then continued her stumble across the room towards her aunt’s presence. She’s fine, I didn’t hurt her, I just burned off the tattoo, it couldn’t have really hurt her, she told herself but the reassurance was empty until, finally, Jaina’s presence came into proper focus and she heard her aunt’s voice.

“Here, I’m here. I’m okay.” Allana said quickly in response to her aunt’s worried call as she reached her and lowered herself carefully to the ground. “Just a headache and a lot of annoyance that we apparently still get put on the head of the kidnapping list here,” she added, the levity obviously a bit forced but hopefully still reassuring in that she was calm and uninjured enough to joke. Despite her best intentions, however, she was unable to stop herself from lowering her voice and rushing out, “I’m sorry. I tried to stop it, not to let it get in at all, but I couldn’t--“ she cut off, embarrassed because she should have been able to and realizing that talking about it was only going to upset her control over her emotions. In some ways that made it easier to rush on, to answer the questions the others had asked as best she could.

“I was possessed, just for a few minutes, when we were taken,” she said slowly, trying to think how best to phrase this so as not to incite panic. She had no idea who they were trapped with, what power they had or what they could do if they decided to lash out in fear. “The demon, it…showed me some things,” she paused for a moment, gathered herself, because it had been more than just film-villain gloating about evil plans. The demon had talked about ‘showing’ her some things and then there’d been flashes, brief but concentrated in the way memories were, and for a moment Allana couldn’t stop herself from rubbing her hands together, trying to get off the dried blood that had caked there, trying to erase the perfectly remembered sensation of those hands taking a knife to— she shook her head quickly, made herself go on as calmly as she could. “I think I picked up on why we’re here though I don’t know where we are. I think we’re meant to be hosts for some higher level demons.”

She edged closer to Jaina until their shoulders touched. Kidnapping was almost routine at this point in her life and she wasn’t afraid of a fight, she’d been trained for them since she was a child. Possession though, that was something else. She rubbed her hands together again, scratching at her cuticles , there was no blood but she could remember…I can’t do that again. I won’t.

After hearing the various voices, Prue wasn't sure if she should be relieved there were a few of them their or more worried that there was a larger number of them captured. She didn't exactly want to be there alone, and there was something to be said about safety in numbers. Perhaps they all could try to formulate a plan to break out of this place. Surely some of the other people that were caught would have supernatural powers of some sort that they could pool together. Well, that was assuming their captors didn't put up any wards or anything to negate the use of their powers. But one thing was certain, Prue wasn't going to just sit around and wait for something to happened. They all needed to get out of here before something bad happened to them.

Now, why exactly had they been kidnapped? Was there some sinister plan the demons had? There was something definitely a bit off about this. "Has anyone seen or heard any guards or anything?" Prue glanced around, trying to keep an ear out for anything, but she wasn't picking up much aside from the other kidnapees. As the moments ticked by, Prue was getting more and more antsy. She didn't like being kept there in the dark, both literally and metaphorically. She needed a plan of action, something to do should their captors make an appearance. Or maybe she could astral project back to the complex to warn someone. But again came the question of whether they could use their powers or not. This was really not good, she had a really bad feeling about this.

"We need to do something, try to get out of here or resist whatever they have planned for us." Obviously there was some sort of plan if there were several others being held there with her. The only question was if they'd be able to escape or be rescued before whatever sinister plan was in store for them was carried out. Her thoughts turned to Damien, Piper and Leo. Would they notice she was gone yet? While she did talk to them quite often, they probably wouldn't think one evening without hearing form her would be strange. She then feared Damien might start going evil again. She'd seen the way he got the last time she was in trouble, how upset he'd been. No doubt he'd be the same now. Closing her eyes, Prue seriously hoped someone would notice she was gone sooner rather than later and come to help get them out of here.

One by one, more voices came out of the darkness around him. Connor listened to each one, trying to figure out if he knew the owner. Some only sounded faintly familiar, but not enough to put a name to a face, or voice as the case was. He made his way towards the other voices, stumbling when the toe of his boot caught on a crack in the concrete. He swore softly as he caught his balance, catching the end of the question about injuries. His shoulder hurt like a bitch and there was the spot where he'd been hit hard enough to be knocked out, but he'd been in worse shape.

"I'm fine." So far, it looked like he was the only male in the group, but if a few of them had been grabbed, it was possible there were others in the room. "Think there might be someone else in here that hasn't woken up yet?" he asked. The place seemed big enough that it was possible to move around without tripping over an unconscious body. He stuck his hands in his pockets, looking for something that might be helpful. All he came up with was a free marker for a beer at one of the local bars. No hope of bribing a guard off with that.

Playing host to some upper level demon? Fuck that. Nothing was going to be using his body except for him. "What have we got to fight back with if they do come around?"

This was just...a little bit bizarre. Kitty couldn't believe what was going on. She wasn't hurt, though she was a bit sore from having tried to fight. That wasn't anything to worry over, though. Were there more of them? It was hard to tell, but there were only a certain number of replies.

Kitty was quiet as she got to her feet and stayed put. She took in a breath and tried to look around in the dark. She was listening, but quiet for the moment. Hosts to upper level demons? She was serious, it was obvious in the tone of the other woman's voice. Kitty didn't want to be a host, she couldn't be a host with her powers there was so much bad that a demon could do. Kitty could walk through walls and the only thing that had been proven to stop her was adamantium....and it didn't even exist here. Of course there were other magic things that could possibly stop her, but still. Her power under the control of someone else was a bad idea, especially if that someone else was a demon. A demon could really make a mess with her powers.

Kitty swallowed as she heard a voice speaking about resisting and then another about what they had to fight with. "I've got powers, they've been....a little on the fritz lately, and they might not work here... I'm also a trained to fight. If we can find anything in here we might be able have makeshift weapons, don't know if there's anything here, though." Kitty said, trying to focus and be logical. "Does anyone else have any powers? Or know how to fight?" Kitty asked automatically.
