Who: Prue and NPC!demons What: A kidnapping When: Yesterday! Where: An ambush on Prue's way back from work Warnings: Violence
So, she'd had another bout with Pride. Prue would ask why Pride picked on her, but she all ready knew why. She couldn't exactly help being confident in herself, sometimes even overly so. But that was no matter. The people that really mattered to her still loved her despite her faults. Besides, no one was perfect, as much as she may hate to admit that at times. She did have apologizing to do at work. Thankfully, her boss had been understanding only after she'd spun a tale about having been on really bad PMS. Only Prue could spin a story like that. She'd gotten good at that working at Buckland's and having to explain her absences and such.
She was on her way home from work, walking her usual route. She was, however, thinking that she should perhaps start looking for jobs in photography. She didn't exactly need a lot of money, she didn't have to pay bills or anything like that, so it wouldn't hurt to try her hand at getting into photography in this world. But those were thoughts for another time. She crossed a street and suddenly got a taste for something. She stopped and turned down a different road, heading to a little restaurant she'd found a few months before. Perhaps she'd also get something for Damien and have dinner with him. Have a nice evening in.
But suddenly, she got the sense she was being watched. Prue stopped walking and glanced over her shoulder. There was a man who seemed to stop when she did. She wasn't about to take chances, she knew well there were a lot of dangers in this place. "Can I help you?" She asked, readying herself for a fight if need be. But the response didn't come from the guy she was looking at.
"We've been sent for you, actually." It was a female voice. Prue turned to see a woman in front of her, a slightly sinister look on her face.
"Oh really? So who have I pissed off this time?" It was a safe bet that these people weren't here for any non-Apocalypse business.
"No one, really. You've been chosen. Now you can either do this the hard way or the easy way." The woman said.
"You should know I never do things the easy way." Prue replied. Then suddenly, more people showed up, seeming to come out of no where. The side street was abandoned, save for them. Well, this certainly would be interesting. It had been a while since Prue had been in a fight like this, though she was going to let them make the first move. After all, she didn't want to waste a shot at someone only to leave herself exposed to the real attack.
Two people lunged at her. She waved her right hand, sending both of them flying. But just at the same time, she was sent flying backwards. Her back hit the wall of the building behind her. With a grunt, she slumped to one knee, dropping her purse. She glanced up in time to see something come flying at her head. She managed to deflect it and get back on her feet. She lashed out with a punch to the nearest person, then she followed that up with a kick. She tried to gauge where the next attack was coming from, but instead of a physical one, it was a telekinetic one, again sending her into the wall. They were trying to keep her off-balance, to keep her from using her own telekinesis. She could always astral project, but that would leave her physical body in harm's way. No, she couldn't do that. She may not always admit it, but right now she wished Piper or Damien or someone else was here to help her fight.
The demons swarmed around her, doing their best to keep her down. After all, they were informed of her abilities. But even if they hadn't been, they would have taken precautions since she was a witch. Prue did like keeping an ace up her sleeve, but this attack caught her completely unprepared. She managed to throw a few of the demons off of her and knock a couple others back so she could get to her feet, but just as she turned, something hit her hard in the back of her head. She crumpled to the ground, her world going black before she hit the pavement. The demons then picked her up and took her back to the appointed warehouse. When she woke up, Prue would be extremely unhappy, to say the least.
