Brennan had been planning on taking a bath before going to get Parker from Angela, but the text from Booth had changed that plan. Instead, the injured anthropologist had once again left the complex, this time heading in the opposite direction. Honestly, this day had just been one strange day. A day of demons and exorcisms, things that shouldn't even exist existed and Brennan just didn't know how to handle that. And now she had to get Booth out of a hospital jail. Just what had been going on while Booth had been acting erratically? And all the while, she was convinced she needed to get her own head scanned. But that wasn't going to happen at the hospital.
Entering the sterile building, Brennan headed to the desk and looked to the receptionist. She knew that visiting hours were over but that didn't seem to phase the brunette. She had more pressing matters at hand. Like making sure that Booth was okay. At least he was asking for help. The fact that he hadn't responded to her comment on taking Parker was more troublesome than she wanted to admit, but what could she do. She had to believe that this was a sign that Booth was acting more rationally. But she still was going to hold to the fact he needed a brain scan. Just to be sure.
"I'm here to see Seeley Booth."
"He's not allowed to have visitors."
"I don't care. I'm here to ensure he gets a brain scan and is then released. I will take responsibility for him." Brennan could see that the receptionist was faltering and so she waited a moment before she was given the information she wanted. Nodding in thanks, Brennan headed down to the elevator and went to where Booth was being held. First, she needed to speak to the guard before going to where Booth was.
Going to the "cell", Brennan leaned against it and sighed softly.
