Kira had trouble with the words, but not as much as Tommy seemed to have. She'd studied a little paleontology in high school. So she knew that sometimes strange looking words generally just sounded the way they were spelled at least, just like Dean had said. She wasn't well versed in Latin so her accent came out terribly. But the point was, they had some sort of plan. Which she had to admit wasn't a bad one, just a strange one. The funny thing was when she got back? Her friends would believe her story. Most sane people would not. But she'd been a Power Ranger for a couple years, and together with her teammates they'd seen some strange things.
This one so far was taking the cake, but that didn't stop her from doing her job. The people were under some kind of spell via the Sins. They defeated the sins, maybe things would start being okay again. That was her theory anyway. It was solid in her head, she just hoped it played out that way in the real world. The incident that'd happened earlier in the day with Andrew had her wondering though. What if those people were always like that, and all the sins were doing was bringing it forward? That wasn't the type of person Kira wanted to be around. She liked people who were honest or at least had good intentions. Tommy struck her as such. He was rough around the edges, but she could handle that. He hadn't lied to her yet, and hadn't given her any reason to distrust him.
There was the little con in getting a hotel room, but they couldn't help it. It wasn't like either of them had asked to be taken from their homes and given nothing to work with. It was clever survival. It was better then she'd managed, but Kira hadn't been anywhere this long on her own where she hadn't known anyone. She'd stayed on the streets the first night and simply kept walking the city. Kept moving in attempt not to draw attention to herself until finally she caved and took Dean's advice and invite to the complex.
The city was scary at night. Dean's little chat about lack of safe zones hadn't exactly helped either. Now Kira and Tommy were camped out planning to go inside and face one of those dangerous things Dean had mentioned, and she was starting to worry. The longer they waited the harder it was, so when he finally looked over at her she nodded. "Lets do it. But be careful okay?" She added quickly and gave him a strained smile.
