Sometimes she thought that humility was one of his worse traits. He didn't see it, how powerful he was, how much people should bow to him, he didn't understand it and still still believed he was just to be treated as any other man.
She kissed him back still bemused at the opinion, "Is it stupid?" she theorised "In the context of where we are and what we're doing?"
But then this was Sam. Who liked to take charge but got twitchy at the idea of true mastery over her. She supposed it meant he loved her and respected her. Maybe it did.
