It came as no surprise to him when Ruby admitted to the bitchy part of her personality and how much she actually enjoyed it. Sam had always known as much, which was why the shock based on her actually doing something like that to him in public had been shrugged off easily. It was more the embarrassment and the revenge that Sam had been so quickly focused on right after. The first of which he was getting over and the second...well, it would be worked on soon enough.
"Then I suppose telling you that you're the biggest bitch I know will only end up inflating that huge ego of yours," Sam said, rolling his eyes. The end of that comment was met with a kiss, one of which Sam accepted happily in spite of the amount of complaining he was doing about what had gone on inside. That had shut him up for the time being, at the very least.
The kiss didn't last as long as he would have preferred. Though it was best that it wasn't a heavy one, otherwise they'd be stuck with a problem very much similar to the one that Sam had to deal with inside. But, really, that was okay. They would get there. As soon as he made a decision. "That lake area," Sam decided, "it's a few miles down the road. We could park out there and..." Sam trailed off, his eyes roaming down from her face to the body that was currently buried underneath all that pesky clothing.
