Booth wanted to explain everything to Parker-in time. But for now he just wanted to enjoy the company of his son more then anything else and everything else got out weighed by it. They were headed for apocalypses no matter what, whether or not he decided to tell Parker right then or later wasn't going to change much. So Seeley would just take it as slow as he damn well pleased. He'd tried to ask Sam his opinion, but Sam was just a kid himself. How could he have much idea of what to say in the raising of another little kid? Everyone had their two cents, some were good and some were bad. But lucky for Parker, Booth didn't put too much stock into what other people said when it came to trusting his own judgement. Or his gut as he liked to call it.
"Don't call the president by mistake. " He teased lightly, knowing Parker could only literally call a couple of people on that kid style phone. He'd bought it for emergencies and that was it. It could text a little, but there were no web surfing abilities or forum posting capabilities. Parker knew if he wanted to do that he had to wait for himself or Lavender to let him. Or Angela, but those were pretty much the only exceptions. Seeley watched Parker get into his seat and grinned brightly.
"You should draw him a picture and thank him. I'm sure he'd like that." Booth couldn't help but eyeroll a little. Hardison wasn't his favorite of the thief trio, but he had helped him out with his kid. He'd kept him happy and everything. He didn't have to give him snacks, or take him back to his and Eliot's place, but he did. Maybe he wasn't entirely bad. Maybe he'd misjudged him a little, but there wa noo way he'd ever say it out loud. The guy had enough of an ego without Booth giving him more to boast about. " Football or baseball, pal?" He asked him while he put boiling water on Lavender's slightly burnt stove. Jeeze, somebody needs to teach this witch how to cook.. He thought internally as he turned to his son and watched him warmly.
