Surprises were the best. Daddy was better at surprises than mommy was. Sometimes mommy thought socks were a good surprise. Daddy knew better than that! Not that socks were bad, they just weren't as cool as other stuff. Parker liked that mommy hadn't come to get him yet. He liked to spend time with daddy because daddy was fun. Parker pretty much idolized his dad. He couldn't help it, little boys pretty much always looked up to their dads. Booth's little boy was pretty much clueless about anything that was going on. Daddy could do no wrong to Parker.
Parker's face was lit up with excitement as dad hoisted him up. Parker automatically hugged his dad, a huge smile on his face. "Yeah! It's just like your's it's so cool." Parker chatted to his daddy happily. "I know you're always here, daddy!" He said as he was put back down on his feet and he scrambled into the chair he was nudged toward. He sat down flat on his butt before looking at his dad, nodding eagerly. "Yeah! Yummy!" He didn't always get lots of soda. His parents, both of them, always made sure that he didn't get too much sugar and everything.
Nodding with a grin, Parker turned in his chair, "Yeah! He was cool, he had lots of computer stuff." As Parker's rootbeer was placed in front of him, the little boy automatically grabbed it and took a drink before putting it back down. "Ooooh! Yeah, catch is fun!"
