Tenel Ka didn't want to elaborate on why she needed to see him. It was enough that he knew that. He shouldn't have some sort of false sense that things were definitely going to be okay with them right now. She couldn't say that was the case. She didn't know if things would be okay. She didn't know if she would be able to move on passed what had happened. She loved Jacen, though. That was something that made all of this difficult. She loved him and she hadn't forgotten that. Underneath the anger and disappointment there was love. She cared about him. he had been able to put her through so much, but she still loved him for some reason. She had to see him period. He looked much better than he had. He looked like he once had.
Giving a slight incline of her head, Tenel Ka didn't want to say too much. "It does seem to have made a difference with you." The thought of him using lightning and trying to find some kind of balance was somewhat terrifying considering the fact that he had kidnapped their daughter and done numerous other horrifying things. If he didn't become someone new and different she didn't know what she would do. If he stayed that person, slipped back into Caedus she would have to do something to keep him from doing a great deal of damage to this...world. He could wreak havoc if someone allowed him. It was a scary thought. Hearing his question, Tenel Ka shifted slightly in her seat, wondering how she should answer him at all. Looking at him, the woman could hardly believe that he was looking away. "It's not just one emotion. It's numerous emotions. Anger, disappointment, and many other things, but not pity." She did not pity him. That much she knew, it hadn't even registered with her. Why should she pity him?
The warning should have alerted the Queen mother that she wasn't going to care for the answer, but she could hardly choose to turn away from answers. "I want to know. The reasons behind the decisions is noted." keeping posture, Tenel Ka focused on Jacen's words rather than anything else. She was focusing on what he was saying. After Allana's kidnapping and then return to her he killed. It didn't surprise her. He gave himself power, another thing that didn't surprise her at all. Everything he said were things that she thought were wrong decisions, but things that she could believe. It was shocking, but if he could kidnap Allana he could do anything. He had no limits. He would do anything, or at least in that time, in their world in that future. As Jacen stood to pace, Tenel Ka wondered if he paced out of nerves or something else. Did he regret everything? Was this difficult for him to say? If he felt these emotions for doing these horrible things then maybe there was hope for him after all.
Shaking her head lightly, Tenel Ka could hardly believe the lengths he had gone to. He really had turned into a person that she didn't like or know. Her mind stopped as he said that his connection to Hapes had been found out. Her brow lifted slightly, listening to his every word. He was mentioning her father?
She was calm. Of course she was, up until the moment that he said that he killed him. Jacen...no...Caedus had killed her father? Anger boiled and bubbled to the surface, breaking her normal calm, breaking the regal posture she had been holding. Her hand automatically went for her lightsaber, and there was the tell tale hiss as she quickly moved to him. "Turn around!" She didn't know what she was doing, but she couldn't do it with his back to her.
"Turn around, face me!" He was a coward, hiding... how dare he! "If you could do that you can face me!"
