"No, I mean...I don't know what I mean." Angel gave in with a sigh, resigning himself to the fact that he was as clueless talking to a teenage as he ever was. "Do you have any idea what's going on? Because one minute I was with N-" He caught himself, not wanting to get into Nina and who she was to him. "I was in L.A. and now I'm in Kansas? Did the same thing happen to you?" Maybe it had something to do with her looking so young. Because while that still made no sense to him, it would be an explanation of some sort. Kind of.
He sighed at her observation of his current state of being. Angel was well aware of the fact that he was a puppet. He had been a puppet for awhile, yet he was still not accustomed to these weird puppet feelings he had. Angel was still Angel, but it was like all his emotions were amplified by a thousand over. It was as if the universe didn't think he was already dramatic enough as he was, so they had to go and give him the emotional capacity of a woman on her period. Did that sound offensive? Angel didn't care. He was a puppet.
"There was this thing with a children's tv show taking the life energy of the kids watching and there were these puppet demons...Honestly, I don't know how to explain it other than that they turned me into a puppet." He hung his felt head in sadness. "But I'm going to turn back to normal soon. This...curse is suppose to wear off soon according to lab people and I'll be back to normal in no time. Is Willow around? Maybe she could speed this all up." He looked pitifully up at Buffy, looking hopeful. "Buffy, why are we in Kansas?"
