Anya stepped forward, breathing a sigh of relief when the gun was put away. She most definitely appreciated that. She took the flask unscrewing it as she listened to Ellie. "I understand, I'm sure I'd do the same in your position. Its sensible." She took a swig from the flask and swallowed the water proving she wasn't possessed by a demon of this world. That was one down. "There. Not a demon." she told Elle handing back the flask. "Do you have a silver knife?" Most people might have gotten a little upset by the idea of breaking their own skin but if it proved she wasn't a shapeshifter than she'd do it. She'd be more than happy to. She was Anya Jenkins. She was their friend even if one from a long time ago. Hopefully they'd believe her and there'd be no shooting again. That would get unpleasent.
"What happened to the world Elle? I mean, I expect the Winchester's did something insane. But they talk about Sam being some kind of vessel for Lucifer? I don't understand how that works? Why didn't Lucifer just take him back in my time, wouldn't that have been easy? What took him so long?" It confused Anya. Between that and seeing the world how it was. It was possible of course, 5 years was a long time. And that was the effect evil could have on the world.
"I'm sorry I died" she told Elle, "I'm sorry I made everyone sad"
She really very much wanted to see Xander. It would make more sense to her if she could see Xander. He would explain everything. "Is Xander dealing with things well. He'll have gone all army man again won't he. I expect he's a good leader, is he?"
