Giving a light nod, Kitty grinned. "You told me about being trained. I was trained too, though. I was actually impressed that you were a trained dancer." Kitty told him, being honest. A grin pulled at her lips as he tacked on his own thoughts for the situation. "That's exactly it." Kitty was picky about dance partners. She could trust other people, but she was definitely the girl that didn't want to end up dropped on her head or her face. It was impressive to her when a guy could take dance, or even admit to it.
It wasn't going as badly as she had thought it would go, which was a good fact. Kitty had been afraid that it wouldn't be this easy to just sit and talk to Mike. Lucky her she was wrong.
Thinking about Mike's death was hard for her, though. Kitty had to pause a moment before she could answer his question. "You just died last month...it felt like longer than it was with everything going on. Almost a year, I think." It was a little bit difficult for Kitty to remember exactly how long it had been. So much happened all the time that time just felt differently anymore. Kitty didn't know why he wanted to know this, but she'd answer any question he had as best she could. "I really cared about you. You were a great person." Kitty tacked on, realizing that she was using the past tense.
She could only wonder what else he wanted to know.
