Lois rolled her eyes at Clark, as she had done about a million times before. "Yeah, you're right. I don't understand," she snapped at him, glaring daggers at him as she watched him move around the small room. "I don't understand where I am for one thing. Okay, I know it's Lawrence. That much I get. So maybe it's a when I am thing. Or it's yet another alternate dimension or something, I don't know. And I don't understand what the hell happened to you. I mean, you just cursed, Smallville. Something is seriously wrong here. Oh, and you've got that big scar when you're not even supposed to be able to get hurt!" Yeah, she noticed that alright. It was part of why she didn't recognize him, after all.
When Clark held out the water to her, Lois snatched it and took a gulp before handing it back to him. "Happy now? That was disgusting, by the way. I'm never in a rush to drink salt water." Yeah, she was aware that it was most likely holy water, but it tasted like salt water. That was the important thing.
Next she took the knife and quickly pried it open. "Is this silver or something? Or do you want me to stab myself and save you the trouble?" Yes, she was touching the blade and it was doing nothing to her. Just as the holy water did nothing but put a way too salty taste in her mouth.
