Lois was only really thankful for Clark finally pulling her up there for a moment before the other emotions started kicking in. And what did she do first thing when she was on her feet again? She reached up with her free hand to slap Clark across the face. Yes, she was aware that it wouldn't actually hurt him. But it would make her feel a bit better to do something like that. And it might help get her point across. Plus, she tended to do things like that when she got pissed off anyway.
"That was the stupidest thing I have ever seen you do!" she snapped, glaring daggers up at Clark. Her eyes were drying out now that she was out of super-immediate danger, and instead it was anger flaring up in their wake.
And then he was standing there asking her really stupid questions. She opened her mouth to answer but before she could she ended up getting moved all over again. But hey, at least this time it was probably Clark that did it and not some demon doing it inadvertently. Still, it made her pause for a moment as she looked around. But quiet moments when Lois Lane was worked up never lasted long, just like she couldn't really be still for long.
"Oh, gee. I don't know, Clark. Maybe I'm good at being Lois because I've had twenty-four years of practice. Because I am me you dumbass," she snapped holding her arms out in frustration for as she spoke, then started pacing around the room, looking at how sparse it was. And how seriously crappy it was on top of that. God, this was a hideous room.
But it was the last thing that threw her off the most. Lois's head snapped back towards Lois when he said she was dead. "Oh, no," she started, moving quickly towards him. "No, as you can see? I'm not dead. Not even a little. This person standing here ranting at you because you're a moron? This is me. Alive. I don't know what the hell is going on here, but I'm alive. I'm seriously alive. Ten minutes ago I was in my apartment getting a doughnut. Then I was here. So don't give me any of that shit because I might not know how I ended up here, but if I know one thing it's that I am alive."
