Kitty had been pulling a late night study session. Sure, she didn't do it very often, but sometimes people had to do things like that to get stuff done. She had quite a bit of work that she needed to get done. School came first for her, before her training sessions and before time with friends. The only thing that it didn't come before was her duties as an X-MAN. Generally she was good about managing things so that when she had to spring into action she didn't pay for it later. Today was one of those times. As long as she got things done now she wouldn't pay for it later! The diminutive young woman thought that getting work done was more than a good thing.
Sure, she had the night to do whatever she needed to, but the next day she was going to have a full load on her plate. She had several classes, a paper to write, and a danger room session. Kitty's schedule was pretty much busy most of the time. Busy was the way that she liked things. Being busy with school, danger room sessions, writing papers, and then fitting in social time made her feel like her life had a lot of purpose to it. Purpose was good in anyone's life.
She was done with her studying, though. Thank god! After managing to pack her laptop and her books back into her bag (even though she already had her uniform wadded up in the bottom of the bag), Kitty got up. Pulling her backpack on completely as she walked, Kitty looked around carefully to be sure that no one was looking her way. That gave her the moment she needed. She was in a hurry, so she simply walked through several bookshelves without thinking. As she was passing through the third bookshelf she heard the sound of books dropping and flinched, quickly spinning around.
Only....when she spun around she wasn't in the library anymore. Where the hell was she? Blinking dumbly, Kitty reached up and rubbed her eyes, looking around at the darkness around her and realizing that she was outside. "What....?" Kitty swallowed as she looked around a little. She definitely wasn't in the library. In fact, she was in the middle of a road. Quickly, the small woman moved out of the road, and she didn't stop walking. Every little noise not only made her flinch, but caused her to phase. She could feel fear, uncertainty, anger, and tons of other thoughts. Her sneakers made no noise on the ground as she walked, her jeans and t-shirt along with her green hoodie leaving her comfortable. "Whoever thinks this is funny..." Kitty began to mumble, trailing off as she reached for her phone. She was going to figure something out!
