The hug was crazy and sloppy and he nearly toppled her over while he splashed himself with whiskey. She really had gotten here just in time. Poor Sam really very much needed to sober up. Maybe they'd go for coffee before she dragged him back to their apartment. Meanwhile though she relished the hug as he seemed to sort of speak into her hair before stepping back, or rather, stumbling back to look at her. She was more than a little entertained by how he did it. All dressed up, he said. Well sure she was. He liked the leather on her. Always had. And she'd worn it for him, dressed herself just like he liked. Accented each and every curve on this body she was so fond of it.
"I'm all dressed up for you. Like we talked about." she said simply taking the time to twirl around for him, slowly and with all the focus kept on him. "What thing do you mean?" she asked him offering him her arm if he wanted to walk. It was probably a good thing to get him walking back to the apartment where they could... Where they could what? She didn't know what was going to happen when they got back there. If anything. Maybe he'd just sleep, Maybe it would do him good. But either way she'd be there, because he needed someone right now. And it was her job to be that someone.
"You gonna come home with me? Its your home too you know." He hadn't been there for quite some time now, and Ruby missed him. Of course she knew it made sense. He couldn't be. He had to be so careful and he had to fight the addiction away from her because she carried the drug in her veins. Maybe he was finally there, finally strong enough to come back with her. He could even bring his whiskey. She was nice like that.
She'd get him back, they'd stop for coffee on the way and everything would be absolutely fine. At least until she'd settled him and could call John on being a jackass. And she'd do it too. No one talked to Sam like that and got away without learning just what a bad thing it was.
