Sam/Ruby - Holy water!
She knew she would have been happier at the protection he was granting her, what it meant for him to do it, what it meant for them. How much it said about how changed he was. But mostly. It burned. She buried herself as much into him as she could, every inch of her screaming to just leave the body, to give up and get out because anything would be better than this.
Her eyes hadn't shifted back since this had started, still black, still those of a demon, she didn't have the energy to do it even if she'd been thinking it properly. It felt like hours. The other demons fleeing in terror or being caught by the distraction the water provided and summerily exorcised, it felt like hours, days. And she knew nothing but Sam, and the water.
Until suddenly it stopped as quickly as it started, and though her clothes and his were soaking, still stinging she finally looked up at him eyes still black, and desperatly wanted to kiss him for what he'd done for her. Instead she cast her eyes from Sam toward his brother before looking back at Sam still more than a little shaky, her voice definitely so. "I think I should leave now"
