Team Anna - Hermione, Damien, Peter, James
Right. There was a lot of things James was willing to sacrifice for the good fight. To deal with. Stupid uncles. Irritating know-it-all cousins. Irritating know-it-all muggles. Malfoy. The last one was barely but it was doing done. However, learning? Actively? That was pushing it all beyond sense. Which might have been a bit of a surprise when James stepped forward, and semi-raise his hand like he was still in school. He felt like an idiot but he also felt no need to yell it across in a room full of demons. What? He was a wizard, Latin was kind of a must. And he'd always been good at his Defence of the Dark Arts. Scarily good, he was his parents son after all. And this? Was what it was, what he reminded himself as spent a perfectly good summer catching up from Rose. Not like he had much else to do ...
At Damien's comment, James looked at him questioningly, curiously, assessing and judging, all those good ones, all in one go from the corner of his eye. He wasn't a wizard. That much was for sure. Or if he was, he was a really stupid one. His wand wasn't out. So James was to curious as to how this restraining thing would work.
Then the demon spoke, and really this evening was just interesting comments galore. When everyone stopped finding it necessary to cut off what he was going to say, James said. "Send them my way and I'll do it." Not elaborating what 'it' was, and even as he said the words, he sent out a locking curse and took a step closer to Hermione. Making it clear that he would always a few steps behind her, so if for some strange reason they didn't spot him, they would send the demons in her general direction and James would handle them. Just because he wasn't leaving the younger version of his aunt out of sight didn't mean that he could hex and exorcise as well. He could multi-task.
