Eliot Spencer ([info]_thatswhatido) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
Side jobs. None of them liked the idea of someone tackling a job on their own, without letting the crew in on it, because it presented one possibility too many for problems. Jobs taken when the crew was apart didn't count, but Eliot wasn't naive enough to think it didn't happen when they were working together. Especially when he was guilty of it. It didn't stop the slightly annoyed look.

However, Parker didn't give him much time to comment on that little piece of information. "She happen to give you a name?" Not that it mattered, beyond Parker getting to the complex alive, in one piece, and unpossessed. Given she'd walked into the lobby without a problem, it looked like it was a success. Which led him to his next question. "Did you get the rundown of what's going on around here?"

Leave it to Parker to end up in another dimension with a none too shabby amount on her. Eliot laughed quietly as he looked down at the money she'd presented. "That's going to come in handy around here." He'd shown up with enough to get him through the week before running dry, with no bank account to pull from. The amusement became a dry look. "They take normal money in Kansas, Parker. Same as they do anywhere in the States."
