Claudio listened intently, smile still on his face, nodding as she explained. A world way different from his own, and yet it brought so much comfort and so much relief he was beside himself. It was probably because they at least had the shared experience of not knowing what the hell was going on.
"Hey, a least you're from this planet," He reminded, though there was a gentle joking tone in his voice. He didn't regret that he'd shifted worlds, he'd just been lost and confused as to what exactly had happened. It would take adjusting, but until he could find a way back--if he wanted to find a way back--maybe it would be a fresh start. A chance to hide from the blue thing that had attacked him, his parents (if they were still out there and if they still wanted him dead) and maybe develop his powers.
Was be being overly gregarious about it? Probably, but Claudio figured if he didn't think like this the alternative would be to mope, and there was no reason to angst in a corner. His parents had taught him to make the best of what he had, after all.
"So, the good guys, they've got a place? I've kind of spent my last moments on a garbage ship..." He trailed off, amazed he didn't smell, though he had phased through the actual garbage wall to a small corridor for most of it. "It was pretty uncomfortable."
