“You're telling me,” Claudio mumbled. The pencil was long forgotten in the grass after he sat up, the sketchboo still in hand, and he had a sneaking suspicion that the other girl might know what was going on. Maybe he was crazy, but the way she was so vague about it, and how she assumed he didn't have a place to stay...
Which he didn't, he supposed, scrunching his nose in thought, lost in his own mind for a few moments before snapping out of it and offering another apologetic smile. Weird day, he mentally reminded. Dear God it's been a weird day.
“Kinda new, yeah. Very new, actually,” he corrected himself, trying not to laugh at how ridiculous he sounded. “Hey—can I ask you a weird question?” She seemed trustworthy enough. And if the girl with Newo's pretty eyes thought he was crazy, then no skin off of his back. He'd probably never run into her again anyway.
“Where exactly is this? City-wise, I mean.” He wanted to ask what planet, but he wasn't sure how well that would go over. It wasn't Shylos Ten. Or Hetricus, or any place he recognized. It was possible that he was on one of the 72 planets in the Keywork, but there weren't three suns. Just one Sirius Star.
“It's been a really confusing day,” He explained, hoping she wouldn't think he was too nuts. “I don't really know how I got here.”
