Joy was bored, actually she was beyond bored. At least back home there were more things to do, here it seemed to be big kids versus little ones all over - and Joy was a little kid. At least Jo had offered to teach her how to fight, which Joy was more than thankful for. She didn't plan on going off and trying to be some action hero, if she could help it she wasn't going to get into a single fight - but she wanted to know how, just in case she did happen to find herself in a situation.
She missed her job. She really had had the best job back in the world back home. She was Joyful Joy, best friend to Big Bird. She taught Big Bird that it was alright he couldn't fly, because he had a big heart. In the same episode Beyonce appeared and Joy had gotten to sing a few lines of a song about how reading was fun with her. It really had been the highlight of Joy's career, and what she hoped would be the start of things to come.
But now she was here. In this freaky, messed up world and she was bored and lonely. She had taken to walking around the complex when she got really bored, which was even more boring but at least it was something. She had thankfully managed to get some warmer cloths, they weren't the best looking - Joy had become accustomed to dressing in brand name cloths, she wasn't a snob she just liked them. But cloths were cloths, at least she had some.
She had a thick brown winter coat on, and furry boots which looked like dead rabbits - but at least they kept her feet warm. She stopped her walk, when she saw someone - a guy, standing alone by some crates and then something which looked like a gigantic key appeared in his hand out of nowhere.
Joy's eyes widened. "Holy shi..." she clamped a hand over her mouth. She didn't know who this guy was, or if he was even good or bad or whatever it was the people here went on about. Still...wow.
