He dragged a hand through his hair, yanking most of it out of the band he'd just pulled it back with, tugging it out again, hair falling across his face "Oh, well in that case yeah, the whole, gates ... thing." He scratched both hands through his hair, mostly trying to sort his own thoughts into order on the issue, "Talked to Martha, the doctor here, managed to convince her not to make me go to the hospital, borrowed one of those portable MRI things?" He shrugged, "Because after I did it I was bleeding pretty bad, headache like maybe I'd ruptured something, had to make sure I didn't."
Another shrug, sitting back as well, "Nothing showed up on the scan, nothing, not even a shadow that might be something." He wasn't entirely sure why he was telling her, besides the fact that he trusted her too, and now that he'd started it was hard to stop, "And I know I didn't tell you what happened while I was opening the gates, I was laughing, Clark said I sounded crazy, and I'd believe it, but it was just..." He was at a loss, really, "Fun." He shook his head, "Just like when I opened them before and I just wanted to rip into something, just because I can." A huff, "Robin says that the Auphe used to hunt T-Rexes just because it was fun, I ... kind of get that now."
He shrugged, "For a long time I tried to pretend that that feeling was just whatever they'd done to me while I was there, but knowing that there's nothing wrong with my brain, that all that's in my head is me? I don't know." He shook his head, "Just... dunno."
