WHO: Marian, Robin, Booth
WHAT: Discussing job opportunities
WHEN: Early Afternoon
WHERE: Booth's FBI office
RATING: TBD.

She was like a child herself knowing what this meeting would enable her to do. Ever since she discussed the possibility of working with children, helping them, had been given to her she had been buzzing at the opportunity. She loved the idea of getting to help children, after all she loved helping others and children needed that help just as much. Grinning over at Robin, she squeezed his hand as the walked closer to the office building.

"Thank you for coming with me."

She really needed someone to keep her from jumping up and down at the prospect. She had been waiting for this moment for a while and now that it was here she couldn't stop the excitement. And it seemed just right that Robin would be there to share this with her.

"You really have to stop being so wicked or you will end up in a cell."

She couldn't stop the teasing grin that she gave him, glancing at the sign when he did. Good, they were where they should be. Looking up at him, she wrapped her arms around his neck before leaning up to kiss him a fair few times.

"To make up for our time inside," she said before kissing him again, her hands running to his hair. She had to pull away or they would be late, but right now she was quite happy like this.

"That would also be a novelty," he laughed. "Ending up imprisoned for wickedness, instead of charitable works." He admitted to himself that said charitable works had not been purely innocent, nor that they were always what had gotten him in trouble... but still, his point was mostly valid. Mostly.

Then, she was kissing him again, and it took him a minute to remember where they were or what they were doing, and that whatever they were supposed to be doing, this wasn't it. Finally, he took a reluctant step back. "If don't go in, Booth will give up on waiting for us."

Booth was in a mood ever since Angela had told him she wasn't his squint. He probably took it more personally then he should have, but the fact of it was they were all his squints and her saying that made him realize just how much different this place was. It really set reality in that they weren't in D.C. He began to question things mentally. Wondered if he'd ever get home, or if he should even be thinking about it. There was nothing he could do about his current situation, he knew that. Learned it from Eliot and took it to heart, it kept him out of plenty of funks. But to be severed to something that kept his spirits up the way his squints always had, was worse then not being in D.C.

He was waiting for Robin and Lady Marian to show, bbut his mind was elsewhere all together. Maybe he should have called them to come another day, but he figured they were already on their way. So he sat at his desk and didn't even attempt to look bus. His office was cozy and comfortable, but he couldn't relax. He felt restless and a desperate need to get out of it. He was getting impatient. He didn't realize they were so close, or he wouldn't have stood up, but he did. And he opened the door, maybe it was better if they just did it another time. He could always tell them he had an emergency to tend to..Except he saw something he wasn't prepared for. They were standing there together, and Booth raised an eyebrow. "Going to stand in the hallway all day?" Not meaning to sound as off beat as he did, he stepped back and shook his head. Forcing a scruffy smirk. "I was starting to wonder if you got lost."

She turned when she heard Booth's voice, biting her lip as she offered an apologetic smile. Taking Robin's hand, she smiled up at him before looking to Booth. She really did feel bad, she shouldn't have done that when he was expecting them. Then again, they were only just married. Surely she had a good enough excuse.

"Sorry, I hope we haven't kept you waiting."

She really wanted to do this, and if Booth had went to all that trouble to help her then she really wanted to keep him happy.

The place was not at all what Robin had expected, considering the associations he made when he thought of a building of the law. He was used to the dark, dank gloom of Nottingham Castle, a feeling of oppression and stagnation. It had been a bit better when Marian's father was sheriff than it had been under Vaizey, but there was only so much that could be done with such a monstrosity of a structure. However, the FBI building was quite the opposite. The first thing he noticed was how bright it was; well-lit and with an abundance of white paint. Also, rather than chains and other menacing tools, the walls were hung with a few plaques, framed newspaper articles, and a couple of display cases. And, while everyone they passed had the air of someone on a serious task about them, they still received some smiles and nods-- a far cry from the shifty looks of underhanded dealings which he had often noted back home.

They soon found the office to which they had been directed by a businesslike, yet pleasant agent-- a definite improvement over the castle guards. When Marian paused outside the closed door, he smiled down at her. As if on cue, the door opened then, making Robin wonder if the agent they spoke with had called ahead to announce them. At first, Booth seemed a little off, but it did not seem to be directed at them. Still, perhaps something had come up.

"This isn't a bad time, is it?" Robin asked carefully.
