"A little of both," Connor admitted. "It's a new place, doesn't have that worn in feel that Doc's did. Or the company." His first and only visit, a couple of guys in suits had come in and seemed more at home than he did. He wanted the place where it felt more like a second home walking in than just going in to get a drink. It was going to be hard to find a place that even came close.
He rose to his feet and grabbed his coat from where it was slung over the chair. "Come on. I'm hungry, you've got money, and I don't feel like raiding the kitchen again." There had to be some way to make money around this place if they were running a complex for the out of towners. They wouldn't need to make it last too long.
